Vision boards let you bring pictures, photos and drawings into a therapy session. You can use one to share your dreams and memories by making a collage. On occasion, I assign reading for psychoeducation, and for purposes of discussion, it’s a help if we can both see the same material.
You can use a board to process feelings during the week, for example, you might want to do some grief work, a form of therapy that lends itself to storytelling. If you like to communicate through the creative arts, this might be a useful tool.
